After what seems like ages – I think it has been at least 3-4 months if not longer – I consider this project done.

The takeaways from this endeavor…If one is going to try to do the same, my thought is you have at least the GOAL of having fun. All other goals are secondary. Yes it did take me a few months to complete, but of the times that I had to work on the project, I enjoyed watching the figures “come to life” with every brushstroke of paint and glued grass. I got satisfaction (and letdown) at every turn, but in the end, I am happy I did this.

I discovered that you shouldn’t sweat the small things, like me trying to put as much detail as I could to something that someone will only see for a few moments and say “good job” or “wow, better luck next time”. I literally sat for hours when I tried to paint in the eyes. And the skin tone…I am definitely still on the learning journey.

Any ways…check out them pics and links.

I’d like to hear your thoughts on the project. Any tips or tricks I can try out for the next build or paint project? I think I need some terrain.

Happy crafting, readers!
